A stove, fuel and cookware need to work together for your planned meals.
What will you cook?
Compare cooking surface, pot support and control with the size and style of your meals.
What connects to what?
Verify the exact fuel type and connection named by the manufacturer before choosing a stove.
What comes in the box?
Check whether fuel, cookware, wind protection and adapters are included or separate.
Terms you may see
- Fuel connection
- The fitting between stove and fuel container; matching the fuel name alone is not enough.
- Simmer control
- The ability to reduce heat for gentler cooking; compare the maker’s stated controls.
